PASSOVER

The Medieval Haggadah for the Contemporary Seder:
Art of the Past for Jews of Today

The Seder meal would be unimaginable without the haggadah, and the haggadah would be incomplete without its illustrations. We will explore the ways in which the illustrated haggadah became the ultimate way of fulfilling the mandate envisioning oneself as if one had personally come out of Egypt on the eve of Passover.

NOTE: Many of the other listed programs discuss the Haggadah, and are thus appropriate for a Passover program
