Options for independent fieldtrips

For your independently written blog essay, you can either pick one of the places or events suggested below, or propose another field site.

Once you choose a fieldsite, e-mail me (Leonard Nevarez) with the following information: (1) your field site, (2) when you plan to visit it — make sure it's open on that day (3) a few sentences about how it could be relevant to the Hudson Valley's amenity economy. Only one student may write on a specific field event; however, other students are welcome to join you on your fieldtrip.

To propose a field site

Browse through our Hudson Valley resources page and find a destination, event or activity in one of the tourism websites or local publications you see there.
