Race

A category of people whose common physical characteristics are believed to make them socially distinct.

 

Ethnicity

The attribution of characteristics to groups of people who share a common cultural (including religious) heritage.

 

Racism

The belief that a particular racial or ethnic group is naturally inferior, so that its unequal treatment is justified.
